Overview

Food products can be chopped, blended, dried, sprouted, fermented, or pickled. Drink herbal concoctions instead of coffee and tea, and heat food to no more than 118 °F.

There are several types of raw foodism, of which there are three main ones:

  • Omnivorous: raw animal and plant products, raw fish and seafood
  • Vegetarian: plant foods, raw eggs and unpasteurized dairy products
  • Vegan: vegetables, fruits, dried fruits, legumes, cereals, nuts, honey, seeds and herbs
