When considering what foods to eat, pay attention to the pH values. The lower the pH value, the higher the acidity. For example, the pH of lemon juice is 2.0! Those with heartburn should choose foods with a pH level of 5 or higher. These include:
- Melons, watermelons, bananas. Most fruits have a high acid content, but these are the exception to the rule.
