Rumor 1: Everyday pads cause inflammation

The pads themselves can not cause an infection. They contain no viruses or bacteria, and in fact, differ from menstrual pads only in size and thickness. Pads are most likely not related to inflammation.

Rumor 2: Everyday pads lead to more discharge

A small, colorless vaginal discharge is normal, but the amount of it may vary depending on the day of your cycle, your body's characteristics, and whether you're pregnant or sexually active. Pads ===cannot affect what is happening inside the body.
